Overview of the U.S.A Visa Lottery
The Diversity Immigrant Visa is a lottery program administered by the United States (U.S.) government Department of State and conducted under the Immigration and Nationality Act.

The American DV- VISA Lottery is also known as Green Card Lottery which the US Department of States administers and offers to qualified applicants. The Green Card Lottery provides 50,000 immigrant visas (fifty thousand U.S. Permanent Resident Card) annually to the non-USA nationality with aims to diversify immigrant population in the United States. It works by the selection of applicants from countries with low numbers of immigrants in the USA within the last five years. There has been a turnaround of 20 million (twenty million) people who applied for the lottery each year, as per the record of 2017.

The American VISA Lottery application is limited, and it is conducted once a year. Only specified eligible countries and applicants are qualified to apply. What this means is that if your country of origin does not qualify for American VISA Lottery 2018/2019, you are automatically ineligible.

How to Apply for the U.S.A Visa Lottery 2018/2019
To apply for American VISA Lottery, we recommend you may first contact the American Embassy in your country to verify if your country qualified or you may check the official USA DV-Lottery website online for all the necessary information you may need.

Important Information: The DV-2019 entry period which began on October 3 is confirmed closed, by the USA embassy. They also confirmed that due to a technical issue, all the entries submitted during October 3-10 are not valid (this means that all those entries have been excluded from the system, and therefore they will not count as a duplicate entry).
The good news is that they also confirmed the technical issue resolved now. However, it is important you note that only entries submitted between October 18, 2017 at 12:00 noon, Eastern Daylight Time (EDT) (GMT-4), and November 22, 2017 at 12:00 noon, Eastern Standard Time (EST) (GMT-4) will be accepted and considered for selection in the USA DV-2019 lottery.
NOTE: If you are affected by this issue, you are please required to get rid of any other documentation or any confirmation number that you have if you submitted an entry for USA DV-2019 lottery during October 3-10.
